Panayotis Vassilakis, known as Takis (1925–2019), was a Greek artist and a pioneering figure of kinetic art. His work explores invisible forces—particularly magnetism—as well as light, movement and sound. Based in Paris from the 1950s, he developed a vocabulary in which physical phenomena and poetic enquiry meet.
