Galerie Meubles et Lumières moves to 31 rue de Seine

The Meubles et Lumières gallery is moving and will be delighted to welcome you in its new space at 31 rue de seine at the beginning of September 2022.

The Meubles et Lumières gallery was born from the meeting at the Paul-Bert Serpette flea market of two young antique dealers, Guilhem Faget and Alexandre Goult, who share the same passion: 20th century design from the 1950s.

After ten formative years in the famous market, sharpening their expertise, they have established themselves as specialists in furniture as well as in French and Italian lighting.

Located in St. Germain-des-Prés, the gallery they invested in 2014, has the vocation to discover and to make rediscover and to emphasize, the achievements of the first designers through their realizations located from the years of the second part of the XX century.

Thus the gallery has established itself as a place of reference where pieces by renowned designers such as Pierre Guariche, Gino Sarfatti, Louis Sognot, Gio Ponti, Robert Mathieu, Pierre Paulin or Michel Boyer…and many others. With those of more confidential designers, like Xavier Féal, Claude Morin, Mireille Moser, Ben Swildens, Jacques Biny.

For the past few years, they have been interested in the avant-garde of the 1960s and its evolving and modular design, resolutely revolutionary. A culmination of the new philosophies of life, this art of living is the playground of Pierre Paulin, of course, but also Bernard Govin, Christian Adam or Lionel Morgaine.

The gallery owners have also done extensive work on the publisher of high-end lighting Verre Lumière, founded in 1967 by Max Ingrand, which has seen all the best designers of the time come and go in its design office.
