Biography
Xavier Matégot, born in 1956, is a French designer active in the 1980s. His XM range, published by Christian Farjon with the support of VIA, explores lightweight constructions combining metal, wood and industrial elements.
Institutional reference
The Centre Pompidou notably preserves the XM3 chair, designed in 1986, produced by Christian Farjon and from a donation by VIA (inv. AM 2010-1-90). Centre Pompidou, Paris.
