Biography

Jean-Pierre Vincent (1926–1992) was a French lighting designer and creator active in Lyon. Trained at the École des Beaux-Arts in Lyon in the early 1950s, he initially focused on artistic metalwork before specializing in lighting. He developed his own designs, worked with Pierre Disderot as a manufacturer, and contributed to several public commissions in Lyon. In 1976, he notably designed the monumental chandelier for the Perrache Interchange, one of his most spectacular achievements.
