Details:
Jean Prouvé designed in 1930, the D80 armchair called Grand Repos for his personal use. There is only one original copy. Re-edited by Tecta in 1985, it is part of a first limited edition of 1000 copies.
Based on the first preparatory sketch by Jean Prouvé in 1930, this model was developed, produced and distributed under licence from Tecta. This exemplary from the first series, in which the side panels were welded to the armrest brackets and not - as in later series production - visibly screwed together.
