Its production reflected the post-war renewal of domestic lighting: wall lights, table lamps, floor lamps, pendant lights, and chandeliers frequently combined lacquered metal, brass, glass, opaline glass, Perspex, or fabric shades. The company's designs favored slender structures, adjustable arms, and direct or indirect lighting systems. Some creations were developed in collaboration with external designers, but market catalogs sometimes attributed multiple designers; therefore, when no precise archival documentation is available, DIZAGN retains the attribution to Maison Lunel alone.

Literature

Catalogues and documentation Maison Lunel, 1950s–1960s; historical documentation published by Meubles et Lumières; archives and fact sheets devoted to Lunel lighting by Vintageinfo; specialized market documentation, notably Paul Bert Serpette.

Institutional reference

The online public collections consulted did not allow for the precise identification of this pair of floor lamps.
