Form\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole des Beaux-Arts de Lyon au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 1950, il s\u2019int\u00e9resse d\u2019abord \u00e0 la serrurerie d\u2019art avant de se sp\u00e9cialiser dans l\u2019\u00e9clairage. Il d\u00e9veloppe ses propres mod\u00e8les, travaille avec Pierre Disderot comme fabricant et intervient sur plusieurs commandes publiques lyonnaises. En 1976, il con\u00e7oit notamment le lustre monumental du Centre d\u2019\u00e9changes de Perrache, l\u2019une de ses r\u00e9alisations les plus spectaculaires.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dizagn-doc-heading\"><strong>Literature<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Meubles et d\u00e9cors<\/em>, n\u00b0 793, ao\u00fbt 1964, p. 32 ; documentation Galerie Pascal Cuisinier consacr\u00e9e aux luminaires de Jean-Pierre Vincent ; documentation Meubles et Lumi\u00e8res consacr\u00e9e au designer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dizagn-doc-heading\"><strong>Institutional reference<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le lustre monumental con\u00e7u par Jean-Pierre Vincent pour le Centre d\u2019\u00e9changes de Perrache \u00e0 Lyon constitue une commande publique majeure de son \u0153uvre. Une documentation photographique du projet est r\u00e9f\u00e9renc\u00e9e dans les collections du mus\u00e9e Gadagne, \u00e0 Lyon, tandis que le luminaire lui-m\u00eame a \u00e9t\u00e9 conserv\u00e9
