Biography<\/strong><\/p>\n

Christian Adam (1945\u20132024) est un designer fran\u00e7ais form\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9cole nationale des Arts appliqu\u00e9s. Apr\u00e8s plusieurs exp\u00e9riences en bureaux d\u2019\u00e9tudes et en am\u00e9nagement int\u00e9rieur, il s\u2019\u00e9tablit comme designer ind\u00e9pendant. Membre de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des artistes d\u00e9corateurs \u00e0 partir de la fin des ann\u00e9es 1960, il d\u00e9veloppe un mobilier marqu\u00e9 par l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation des nouveaux mat\u00e9riaux \u2014 mousse de polyur\u00e9thane, polyester moul\u00e9 et fibre de verre \u2014 et collabore notamment avec Airborne. La s\u00e9rie Tr\u00e8fle appartient \u00e0 cette p\u00e9riode de recherche sur les coques moul\u00e9es et les formes organiques.<\/p>\n

Le Mus\u00e9e des Arts d\u00e9coratifs conserve dans le fonds de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 des artistes d\u00e9corateurs un dossier individuel Christian Adam couvrant les ann\u00e9es 1968\u20131973. Le Mobilier national conserve \u00e9galement un fonds documentaire relatif \u00e0 ses recherches pour un piano contemporain entre 1978 et 1988.
