It specialized in wicker and rattan furniture, materials which it adapted to the modernist vocabulary of the 1950s and 1960s. Its production included chairs, beds, storage units and small furniture pieces, often characterized by light structures and a very legible weaving technique.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dizagn-doc-heading\"><strong>Literature<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Furniture and Decoration<\/em>, No. 4, June 1962, advertisement for La Palma, 136 Faubourg Saint-Honor\u00e9; documentation <em>French House<\/em> cited for a La Palma double bed circa 1955; Marcilhac expert catalogue, <em>French design<\/em>, 2021; documentation DODA Gallery dedicated to La Palma.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dizagn-doc-heading\"><strong>Institutional reference<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Research conducted in online public collections failed to identify this pair of armchairs in a national museum. However, the existence and activity of La Palma as a Parisian publisher of wicker furniture are documented in contemporary trade publications, notably <em>Furniture and Decoration<\/em> in 1962, as well as by several concordant expert catalogues.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dizagn-doc-heading\"><strong>Discover La Palma at DIZAGN<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This pair of rattan wing chairs currently constitutes the
