The model was shown at Galerie VIA in Paris from 22 March to 13 April 1991, and later at the Mus\u00e9e d\u2019Art Moderne et Contemporain de Saint-\u00c9tienne in 1998.<\/p>\n

Biography<\/strong><\/p>\n

The son of a cabinetmaker, Ren\u00e9-Jean Caillette (1919\u20132004) favoured functionality and simplicity of line. In 1950, his meeting with manufacturer George Charron led to the creation of Groupe 4 with Alain Richard, Genevi\u00e8ve Dangles and Joseph-Andr\u00e9 Motte.<\/p>\n
